PIGMENTS for SALE

As you all know, recently I have been obsessed by MAC pigments. Not only that I am using them on my brides but also selling them to the ones who need them in smaller jars. Before I show the pictures of the pigments, let me also share a note sourced from MAC website to answer most of your questions.

And here are the pigments. Please pardon the clarity of the pictures as I have taken them from my Blackberry Q10.

I shall try to update as much as I can but not cross boundaries to get some rare pigment which I know may not work.

Please understand that these pigments are for my professional usage and I am only rendering help to anyone who needs them but does not want to buy the whole jar. Hope this is clearly understood. Spring Time

Spring will be here soon....ya...you heard it right! Not the Spring season (which may take time) but the Spring collections have started pouring in the market. Its funny that brands don't take long to launch their Spring collections and while we are enjoying the blissful spring and before the scorching Summer arrives, we are tempted by the Summer collections. Probably the idea of this is to be ready for the seasons before they arrive, so that you prep and amp up the look but this is all silly and funny. It just helps rake sales..

Today's highlights are a few of enticing Spring collections in makeup that may happen to hit the Indian shores. Call it a January Makeup Buying Guide or just a Spring collection, its going to still be equally enthralling. And please do not ask me when it's coming. You'll know its presence soon.....

I am finally announcing a small blog sale with some MAC pigments on the go. I must thank all my amazing FB friends to support and buy these pigments as I knew they wouldn't get exhausted in a life time. A sweet friend of mine said that I should pass them on to the next generation..LOL..

My Arden Goodies...........

If you all know, I had this amazing chance to be a guest makeup artist for an Elizabeth Arden event for which I got some lovely goodies. I couldn't resist sharing the goodies with you before they went into the reviewing section. I must say I have a ridiculous amount of backlog to cover in product reviews, tutorials and a lot of other stuff and I am shamelessly talking about hauls and press releases.

Anyways, these Elizabeth Arden goodies are from the recently launched Beautiful color line and Visible Difference skin care. I have been eyeing on their products for quite a while and this is a good way to begin using them.

Best Makeup Products of 2013 - Drugstore Brands

In the second part of the Best of 2013 makeup products, I shall be talking about the best from the drugstore brands. I am not a very big fan of a lot of drugstore brands as I get a better performance from the department brands but then there are some quintessential products in the drugstore brands that cannot be ignored and some that are amazingly performing better than what you pay for.

Review : Chanel Joues Contraste in Rose Petale

Chanel makes such beautiful blushes. I can't think of one that could be bad and actually I won't even buy if it was bad (LOL). Joues Contraste blushes are pigmented, smooth and silky and impart a fabulous radiant glow. Even the matte formulations have a silky glowing effect on the skin which is quite surreal given the fact that its a baked formula unlike baked blushes from MAC, Colorbar and Bourjois.

Everytime I buy a Joues Contraste, I wait to see the breathtaking result that I will get from the blush and every time I succeed. This time it is Rose Petale...........lets have a looksie....

Best Makeup Products of 2013 - Department Brands

Like every other blogger I know of, I also want to share the Best of 2013 Makeup Products that I loved, raved about and would repurchase if I get a chance to. I am making 2 different posts for Department and Drugstore brands to make it easy for people to relate to these brands separately. Its fun to rate the best products that make you smile and why not smile with all....The products I am mentioning need not be a 2013 launch, I may not own them at the moment but are the ones that entice me all the time....

Review : MAC Lip Mix - Crimson

This is the most amazing and one of the best lip products I have ever seen and used till date. Its the perfect color one would want on their lips for their D-day. I have used this product on almost all the brides I did this season including the bridesmaids and their relatives and everyone simply raved about the longevity of this product and how good it made their lips look. Of course, calling it the touch of the PRO!!

Review : Chanel Joues Contraste Blush in Accent

What a great time of the year to begin with such a fabulous product! Not that I got this product late, but in the late Decembers and slowly after all the editing it made its way on the blog. I could rate Accent blush as one of the most beautiful blushers of the year and you would want to know why? This is color chameleon blush and it really changes the way it looks like when built up or when applied on different skin tones.

So lets see how beautiful this blush is going to be............................

Look of the Day - Hollywood Inspired

We were watching a Lindsay Lohan movie where she plays the character of Elizabeth Taylor and we were so inspired to do this look the very next day. It was a casual evening supper with some guests and what fun to be all dolled up for such an occasion.

Look of the Day - Smoldering Shimmers

Prerna and I planned to do an ultra glamorous look for the evening meeting cum dinner with some really prominent people in the film business corporate. To revive from the trauma of the mundane beige jacket from Ralph Lauren for the evening I chose a palette of bright blue pastels and intense purples with hither thither shimmer and glittery sparkles and the look was scintillating. 

I believe that there's nothing wrong if a hint of glitter goes on the face at the right places. It adds the magical touch one needs to spark up the life's most mundane days. Of course not be OTT... So lets see what products were used to get the look.......

My new resolution for 2014

I have done some new year resolutions to follow and break, even for this year...LOL...I think its not bad to make resolutions as this at least gives you a direction to think and head where you want to...

Bridal Sangeet Makeup

This is the makeup I did for Sangeet of Afrah's wedding. It was really amazing and her dress was a stunning number. Quite a unique combination of a light henna green attire with antique gold work and embroidery and a beautiful pink veil which covered and contrasted the green so brilliantly. I must say this was one of the most stunning outfits I have ever seen on a bride. Its spelled understated elegance with an Indian princess charm.

So lets see what products I used for make Afrah, picture perfect.....for the Sangeet...........

Review : MAC Powder Blush in Hot Nights

This is one MAC Powder blush that I picked up from their much spoken about TEMPERATURE RISING collection. It vanished from the shelves so fast and this was the only unsung hero blush left behind. Maybe it was the color that scared everyone or whatever, but I had a chance to grab this and really like it.

Lately I have been buying a lot of MAC stuff and its now the time that I should include some MAC reviews on my blog to give justice to this professional makeup brand (mind you...not luxury) on a professional makeup artist's blog like mine.

So lets have a closer look at this blush..............
