This is just a random makeup post of a really bizarre makeup that I tried. Unfortunately I don't have a tutorial of this as I wasn't sure how it would turn up.
If done in a very esthetic manner, which I haven't, you could actually create an illusion of long and fuller lashes. I just went a bit berserk and created a makeup look fit for a photo shoot or some wild party.
I used my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette to achieve this look along with BH cosmetics eye liner pen which is fabulous for that little price that we pay. Lets have a look.....
Begin with an eyeshadow primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion to create a sticky base for the eyeshadows to stay put. Highlight the brow bone with BOOTYCALL mixed with FOXY. Define the crease with TEASE to make the eye lid look bigger. On the outer corner apply BLACKOUT eyeshadow and blend it in the outer crease. Blend it into TEASE. Continue the black eyeshadow with BUSTED on the middle of the lid. It should be a continuation of the black eyeshadow. Apply SNAKEBITE in the inner third and blend all the shades together. For that glamorous edge, apply YDK eyeshadow in the centre of the lid. It gives a 3 Dimensional look to the eyes. Line the lash line with BH cosmetics eyelining pen and draw a wing. Then draw flame like lines from the lash line in a diagonal fashion as shown below.
Draw thicker lines on the lower lash line while filling the inner rims with Urban Decay pencil in PERVERSION. These random lines look like thick lashes and gives the eyes a smoldering effect. Curl the lashes and apply 2- 3 coats of a dark black volumizing mascara. Highlight the inner corners with VERVE eyeshadow. The glittering particles in the picture are from this eyeshadow called MIDNIGHT COWBOY from the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette.
Keep the rest of the skin glossy and define the contours of the face. Finish off with a flesh toned brown lipstick to emphasize the eyes or go OTT with a berry colored mouth.
EYESHADOWS USED
From the NAKED 2 Palette. BOOTYCALL (Shimmery Cork), FOXY (Cream Bisque with matte finish), TEASE (creamy pale brown with matte finish), BLACK OUT (blackest black with matte finish), BUSTED (deep taupe brown with shimmery finish), SNAKE BITE (dark bronze with metallic base), YDK (cool bronze shimmer with metallic base) and VERVE (Oyster with shimmery finish). From 15th Anniversary palette I used MIDNIGHT COWBOY.
Hope you liked this whimsical bizarre eye makeup look. Its totally an altered ego makeup.
Till then,
Ciao
