The Makeup Story Part 2

In this picture we depict the emotion of sadness and how one succumbs to bad times and does vile things in life. Anyways lets see how to do the makeup...(LOL)

  • I kept the foundation base the same as the previous shoot.
  • Just darkened the blush a bit with Clinique Blushing Blush in Smoldering Plum. This was to emulate the appearance of rosy flushed cheeks due to heavy wine drinking. While the healthy glow on the face was after using a limited edition Shiseido Multi Shade Enhancer which they make no more. A good dupe would be Shiseido Accentuating Stick in S3 Glistening Flush, although it will not add the dimensions the previous one would.
  • For the lids, I removed the previous pink eyeshadows and everything and started again. This time I used NARS Pro Prime Smudgeproof eyeshadow base to secure the shadows, especially the creamy ones.
  • I dusted the lids with Clarins Mono eyeshadow in Vanilla Beige to create a matte yet uniform lid and contoured the eye lid subtly with Clarins Mono eyeshadow in Blazing Brown.
  • On the centre I applied L'oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Hourglass Beige. To get that amazing glossy effect I applied MAC Face Gloss over the lid..
  • The brows were groomed with MAC Dark Edge and the inner corners were highlighted with MAC eyeshadow in Shore Leave.
  • For the lashes I used L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara in Extreme Black.
  • To create an amazing Merlot stained lips I used Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Berry Freeze and applied it as a stain topping with MAC Face Gloss.
I hope you liked this look.
There are 2 more but one would not appreciate the makeup part of those looks that much.

Hope you liked the pictures. Btw I really apologize for not being able to update the blog due to local internet issues which have got sorted out.

Till then,

Ciao

    1. Thanks a lot! u can always achieve this dewy look with a lot of products. Though I prefer creams and gels, this look can also be achieved with finely milled highlighting powders from Dior and Chanel.
      Thanks a lot!
