Double timing green!!

I am back after a week long sabbatical and not been able to post anything. This was due to lack of internet access and it is not easy to type and update using Blackberry. To tell the truth I have been doing photoshoots with pro photographers every alternate day and that kept me really busy and helpless enough not to write my blog.

In the meanwhile I met some amazing looking models (3 girls and 1 guy) and had a wonderful time. I will post the look as soon as I get hold of the pics.

Anyways, this look is again from the 'Bevy of Envy' series and is inspired from Giorgio Armani's rtw makeup. I loved the effect Ms.Linda Cantello created using 2 different liners. Its a look that is anti-reflection and the effect is beautiful.

So lets see, how to do this look.........

Conceal the under eye area after applying foundation and set with loose translucent powder.

Prime the eyelid for the eye colors to stay true and stay put longer.

Trace the upper lash line with L'Oreal black eye pencil drawing a line that starts thinner from inside going thicker outside and also a little wing. This liner should have a waxy consistency for better blending and dry ups. Also the wing that is drawn is a bit higher than usual. This is the first step towards making the double wing.

You can see how the liner turns up when you open the eyes. Also define the brows by filling in with MAC Dark Edge.

Soften the edges of the liner on the eye lid and also smoke it out on the lower lid. Keep the lower lid subtle with just a hint of smoke on to create a grey base.

Blend MAC Brown Down eyeshadow on the outer corners and outer crease using a soft blending dome brush like MAC 217. There should be enough definition for the crease.

Then apply MAC Smut on the outer edges and soften the light. Allow the black wing to peek through it though.

Highlight with MAC Shore Leave under the brow bone.

Apply MAC Woodwinked on the outer and middle one thirds of the upper lid.

Also apply MAC Woodwinked on the lower lids and smoke it out with a pencil brush. This is applied over the smoked black liner to add dimensions. Also trace the inner rims of lower lids with Clinique Brush on Cream liner in Deep Brown.

Apply MAC Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow on the inner third of the upper lids. Highlight the inner corners with MAC Pigment in Melon.

Line the upper lash line with Clinique Brush on Cream liner in Deep Brown with a thin liner brush. The wing of this liner should be parallel to the wing of the eye pencil applied previously.

See the arrow markers on closed eyes. Finish off with coats of jet black mascara.

For me this style felt like Fendi's peek-a-boo bag. Finish with a fresh golden bronze glow and coral pink shine on the lips.
